Two hours fom Sofia Airport, 5 kilometes from the historical town of Troyan, within 10 - 30 minutes of all the places of interest and liesure activities that this unique area has to offer.
All three houses need renovating, the oldest does have a new roof. Certainly it is a challenge, but with local wages being a fraction of the pay expected in the U.K. and a highly skilled builder living in the village ,the project is not as daunting as it may look.
After renovation you could have two houses with three bedrooms and the oldest with two bedrooms, all set on a good plot of land not over-looked by neighbours
Most of the locals live life as they did a hundred years ago ; Maria walks her two cows to grazing evey day , her freind who is in her 80´s walks her sheep in the opposite direction, Kino´s horse
takes herself for a walk, grass is cut by hand,dried on the street and stored in stoops. Fruit and vegetables are grown in abundance , bottled , dried and preserved by methods I have never seen for winter use. The hospitaliity and genorosity of the villagers is refreshing compared to the fast living of our western culture
The village has two little shops each with a small seating area for refreshments ; the place to meet some local characters.
